Deliciousness, abundance and natural beauty

That’s what my fresh objects add to each and every one of my artworks.

They bring us together.

They spark joy.

They invite.

I get to touch, feel and smell these incredible gifts of nature each and every day.

And I have the honour to introduce this abundance to a growing number of homes across Australia & worldwide.

I believe art is a gift that keeps giving

Whether it’s to yourself or someone special in your life

A piece of art captures a feeling, a moment in time.

And over the years, it takes you back to all the special moments it witnesses as your life unfolds.

Dinner parties with your dearest friends, the rush to get the kids ready for school and all the tiny moments that make up your existence.

I want my art to be that bright, vibrant pop of colour in the lived-in heart of your home that lifts you up for years to come.

“I absolutely love the design! This will be my first oil on canvas artwork! I’d love to make my first purchase of you. Your pieces are beautiful!!”

Hi, I’m Yani Lenehan (pronounced Shani)

Contemporary and modern oil painter, mum of 3 boys and wife of a grazier.

As much as I’ve always been creative, art as a career only found me after 2019.

Between my art-filled childhood in Argentina and the professional artist life I lead in country NSW today, a LOT happened:

Moved to Australia for a corporate career, met a pretty special grazier from Bathurst, had a few kids, left the Sydney buzzing suburb of Glebe and my corporate career to give rural farm life on the outskirts of Bathurst a go…

…and quickly worked out that I was missing connections, inspiration and ‘something’ beyond mum life.

That ‘something’ took shape in art classes and re-connecting with my arty side that had been dormant for so long.

And I’ve never looked back!

Today, I’m a firm part of the thriving Regional NSW art scene where I exhibit regularly and do my part to promote the incredible talent this region has to offer.

Who would have thought the 56 colouring-in pencils my mum gave me for my 9th birthday would be the beginning of something so rewarding?
